How can you play Maqam Ajam?
Maqam Ajam is one of main Arabic maqam - which contains no micro tone; the intervals on this Maqam are tones and semi-tones, which is parallel to C Major.
C: Put your 3rd finger on the 2nd string (to make sure, you can compare it with open C, 5th string)
D: 3rd string is open
E: Put your 2nd finger on the 3rd String.
F: put your 3rd finger on the 3rd string.
G: the string is open.
A: put your 2nd finger on the 4th string.
B: put your 4th finger on the 4th string
C: 5th string is open.
Play this scale Risha down ascending and descending 10 times.
Play this scale Risha up ascending and descending 10 times.
